A List of Free Museum Days in Los Angeles for the month of January 2016

Over two dozen Greater Los Angeles area museums are opening their doors for FREE on Saturday, January 30 2016.  They call it the “Museum Free-For-All day”. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some of the area’s richest culture at no expense to you*. In addition, many museums are offering other free days (see list below).

Freebies include many museums that are not normally free such as the Natural History Museum, LACMA, MOCA, and Descanso Gardens as well as museums that regularly offer free admission such as both Getty campuses and The Broad.

Details can be found at SoCal Museum Free-For-All Day (the official site of “Museum Free-For-All day”).

*Free admission is for general museum admission only at participating museums only and does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions. Regular parking fees apply.

Check individual museum websites (below) for hours, directions, and other visitor information.

As a reminder, please verify the status of free days before you visit.
