APS Home  School

​Advantage Preparatory Schools, Inc. (APS) is the name we have chosen for our school. We have put a great deal of thought and prayer into choosing our name because we want it to accurately reflect the best in family-based education. As we see it, home school families are working hard to provide their children the best possible education. When all is said and done, they believe it is advantageous for them to educate their children at home.

​The advantages of Christian home schooling are numerous, but primarily involve passing biblical values as well as sound knowledge and skills to the next generation.

Parent/teachers are preparing their children to live successful lives; as God defines success. This is long term in outlook, VERY long term.

"What will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul?" is as good a question now as it was when
Jesus first asked it (Mt 16:26).​

As we see it, home school families want their children prepared to profit in their souls as well as in the world.
It is not easy to capture the essence of a movement in three words. Advantage Preparatory Schools is as close as we could come.
