The President's Sports Challenge is an exciting NEW nationally sponsored program designed to encourage all Americans to stay active and fit. The goal is to see how many points you can earn by staying active.

Points are awarded based on the amount of energy each activity burns, so the more active you are, the more points you’ll earn! IT IS EASY; you choose from among 100 different activities such as soccer, bowling, running, basketball, golf - even household tasks or steps from a pedometer count!

Tracking your points is easy with
your own personal online activity log at
http://www.presidentschallenge.org/

When you register with APS, you’ll receive simple step-by-step instructions along with the APS group access code in your confirmation letter. APS moms - Peggy O’Donoghue and Susan Todd will track the group’s progress online throughout the year.

In May, we’ll check the final results online to see who has earned the bronze, silver and gold medals! The gold, silver and bronze medals will be presented at Promotion! Students will be recognized in the APS yearbook and all participants are invited to join us at a special APS awards event in May.

This APS program runs from Sept. 18, 2006 through May 1, 2007 and is open to all family members, including parents and younger siblings!

The cost: $10 per APS student (includes medal, lapel pin, certificate and ribbon)
$3 per participating parent & non-APS siblings (includes certificate and ribbon only).

Make checks payable to APS. Send coupon, payment, and SASE to:
